Resource Alam Indonesia proceeds to grant cash dividends despite its losses

JAKARTA. PT Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk (KKGI) announces its plan to distribute the cash dividend of IDR 5.5 per share, amounting to IDR 30 billion in total.

This plan goes accordingly with the result of KKGI’s Annual General Shareholders Meeting held last week. In the said meeting, the shareholders agree to channel out IDR 30 billion of cash dividends, which are taken out of its retained earnings.

KKGI had suffered from a loss of USD 7.32 million in the fiscal year 2020. However, it still retained its profit balance of USD 107.23 million, equivalent to IDR 1.54 trillion, as reported in December 2020.

Leny, Corporate Secretary of KKGI, announced the cum dividend date in the regular and negotiation market, as well as the cash market. It had been set to August 16 and August 19, 2021, respectively. Meanwhile, the payment would be disbursed on August 24, 2021.

According to idnfinancials.com data, 28.09% of KKGI’s shares belong to UBS AG Singapore S/A Energy Collier. PT Sejahtera Jaya Citra owns another 27.19%, UBS AG Singapore Non-Treaty Omnibus 8.49%, LG International 5.33%, public investors 30.69%, while the remaining portion is dispersed among the board of directors and commissioners.
