GIC Pte Ltd increases its portion in Bukalapak to 11.001%

JAKARTA. GIC Pte Ltd, under the name of the Government of Singapore (GOS), announces its ownership percentage raise in PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) to 11.001% or 11.33 billion shares. This change is effective after the stock purchase made on August 5, 2021, involving IDR 1.36 trillion.

On that day, GIC Pte Ltd bought 1.60 billion shares for IDR 850 each. This transaction was carried out the day before BUKA was officially listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange on August 6, 2021.

The management of GIC, in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange today (10/8), reveals that GIC had now gained 11.33 billion of BUKA’s shares, amounting to 11.001% of BUKA’s total issued and paid-up capital.

GIC states that the purpose of this additional portion acquisition is an investment. (AM/ZH)
