BNI records users’ deposits of IDR 646.58 trillion in H1 2021

JAKARTA – PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) secures the users’ deposits (third-party funds) of IDR 646.58 trillion in H1 2021, also channeling net credit of IDR 521.34 trillion. President Director of BNI, Royke Tumilaar, reveals this gain in the Financial Report H1 2021 published today (16/8).

The composition of the third-party funds mainly comprises current accounts and savings accounts (CASA), both using rupiah and foreign currencies. The third-party funds in the form of current accounts are reported to reach IDR 240.84 trillion. In addition, savings account amounts to IDR 209.17 billion, while term deposit clocks up to IDR 196.53 trillion.

The interest and sharia income is reported to score IDR 25.29 trillion, slightly tipping off from IDR 28.16 billion reported in the same period in 2020. The primary contributor of the revenue is the channelled loans of IDR 21.88 trillion. It is then followed by the proceeds from State Bonds of IDR 2.24 trillion, the margin, placements with other banks, and bank drafts.

In the end, BNI gains IDR 6.35 trillion in its operational profit, shifting from IDR 5.94 trillion. Its net profit also climbs to IDR 5.03 trillion from IDR 4.45 trillion reported last year. (LK/ZH)
