JAKARTA - PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST) yesterday (18/8) held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) at the United Tractors Ballroom, Cakung. Through the EGMS, the shareholders have given their approval to the Company's plan to carry out additional Capital without Pre-emptive Rights or private placement.

In line with the Company's need to strengthen its working capital structure, ACSET announced plans to increase its capital on 12 July 2021 and on 13 August 2021. ACSET will issue a maximum of 15 billion new shares, each with a value of Rp100.

This amount represents a maximum of 70.01% of the total issued and fully paid up capital in the Company after the Capital Increase is completed. PT Karya Supra Perkasa (KSP) as the main shareholder and controlling shareholder of the Company has expressed its full support to participate in this Capital Increase in order to increase the Company's ability to face ongoing industry challenges. The additional capital will be implemented after obtaining approval from the shareholders through the EGMS.

On the same occasion, ACSET also announced its financial and operational performance until the first semester of 2021. ACSET recorded a 14% decrease in revenue from IDR748.76 billion to IDR644.07 billion. (LM)
