24 August 2021 06:31

JAKARTA – PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA), Mitra Keluarga Hospital managing company, has allocated IDR 200 billion for its buyback agenda of 83 million shares. Director of Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat, Joyce V Handajani, reveals in the information disclosure, quoted on Tuesday (24/8).

It is specified that this plan would take place from yesterday (23/8) until November 22, 2021. The purchasing price is set not to exceed IDR 2,400 per share. “This repurchase of shares is intended to stabilise the price during the fluctuating market climate and provide a sense of trust to the investors regarding the fundamental value of the company’s shares,” Handajani explains.

According to Handajani, the company possesses sufficient funds in its internal cash for this action. Thus, it would not pose any significant decline in its revenue. “The buyback would only reduce the number of circulating shares but not actively affect the company’s net profit per share,” she reassures.
