High product demand boosts Kapuas Prima Coal sales by 65.9%

JAKARTA. PT Kapuas Prima Coal Tbk (ZINC) records an impressive sales growth of 65.9% year-on-year (yoy) in the first half of 2021, now reaching IDR 499.94 billion.

This increment is supported by the extensive demand for zinc products, bringing in IDR 230.43 billion or 46% of the total sales. Furthermore, the sales of silver products amount to IDR 92.55 billion, while iron concentrates sales add IDR 85.95 billion, and iron ores contribute IDR 22.66 billion.

An IDR 350.34 billion, or 77.86% of ZINC’s total sales, originates from Merlion Resources Holdings Limited Hong Kong. Then, another IDR 87.09 billion is brought by PT Dexin Steel Indonesia, while C&D Logistics Group Limited China generates IDR 58.58 billion to the total sales.

This sales growth drives ZINC’s net profit to reach IDR 90.08 billion. The net profit for this period is 115% higher than the gain reported in the same period last year.

Based on idnfinancials.com data, until June 30, 2021, ZINC owns total assets of IDR 2.44 trillion, while its equity amounts to IDR 899.28 billion. (KR/ZH)
