Hutama Karya acquires another state capital, totalling IDR 25.2 trillion

25 August 2021 09:39

JAKARTA. PT Hutama Karya (Persero) obtains additional state capital of IDR 19 trillion on top of the first round of state equity participation of IDR 6.2 trillion in early 2021. Thus, it brings the state funding received by this state-owned enterprise to IDR 25.2 trillion in total.

The recent extra state capital injection would be used for the same purposes as the earlier state funding. It would be channelled to complete the currently ongoing construction project of the Sigli-Banda Aceh route of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road.

Tjahjo Purnomo, EVP and Corporate Secretary of Hutama Karya, further specifies that out of the state capital of IDR 6.2 trillion, the Sigli-Banda Aceh route gets an IDR 3.09 trillion, while the Lubuk Linggau-Curup-Bengkulu route obtains IDR 2.7 trillion and the Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Prapat route receives IDR 414 billion.

“The utilisation of the additional state equity participation in the second half of this year would still be directed to fund the Trans Sumatra Toll Road project, particularly the Phase I,” Purnomo confirms, as quoted by Kontan yesterday (24/8). (AM/ZH)
