JAKARTA - PT Ladangbaja Murni Tbk has completed the renovation phase of the factory in Cibitung as a realization of the proceeds from the IPO.
The company's optimism to rise amid the COVID-19 pandemic is reflected in the construction of the main factory for making moulds with international standards which was carried out amid restrictions on community mobility through the government's PPKM policy.
The service concept of PT Ladangbaja Murni Tbk with the new factory in Cibitung is a one stop service solution for mould production. The company's production began with CMM Mitutoyo for the process of digitizing products into mould designs, then Vertical Bandsaw Cosen for cutting raw materials to large sizes, and supported by EDC Double Column Wele production machines, CNC Milling Quaser, CNC Milling Fanuc, EDM Sodick AG 1,000L for production process until it becomes a finished mould. The estimated production capacity with these machines reaches 100 tons per month for maximum capacity.
For the availability of raw materials, the company currently has imported up to 50 tons of raw materials in the form of special steel 2311, S45C and will continue to import to meet consumer demand. The company has also obtained sufficient permits in the form of import quotas for the special steel. The plan is that until the end of 2021 it can import up to 200 tons with various types of steel.
In the future, the expansion of the company will continue to be carried out in two stages, the first stage is the expansion of the mould division by bringing in more EDC, Grinding, and CNC Milling machines and the expansion of the plastic mould injection business which is currently in the business research stage in order to maximize profits. The second stage is by making acquisitions and or purchasing machines from factories that are difficult to survive due to the COVID-19 pandemic. (LM)
