JAKARTA – PT Karya Supra Perkasa (KSP), a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR), adds another investment of IDR 1.5 trillion in PT Acset Indonusa Tbk. It is channelled during ACST’s private placement of 6.25 billion shares.

Sara K Lubis, Corporate Secretary of United Tractors, announces that KSP’s portion in ACST would increase from 64.84% to 82.17% after this corporate action took place. “The transaction takes up 2.38% of the company’s equity reported in December 2020 of IDR 63.14 trillion,” she clarifies in the information disclosure, quoted Wednesday (1/9).

The said corporate action aims to boost the company’s financial condition, as its working capital is at minus IDR 409.90 billion and liabilities reaching IDR 3.05 trillion, quoting the report in December 2020. The raised funds would then be spent on paying ACST’s piling debts of IDR 930.78 billion. Then, another IDR 560.21 billion would be used to fund its working capital to support the business.

KSP’s authorised capital is reported to reach IDR 13.5 trillion. Its issued and paid-up capital amounts to IDR 3.37 trillion, while the stock in portfolio consists of IDR 10.12 trillion. UNTR controls 99.97% of the shares, while PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering claims another 0.03%. On the other hand, ACST records an authorised capital of IDR 2.57 trillion. Its issued and paid-up capital reaches IDR 1.26 trillion and stock in portfolio IDR 1.30 trillion. KSP now owns 82.17% of the shares, while public investors share the remaining 17.83%. (LK/ZH)
