JAKARTA. PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) gears up towards its cash dividend distribution of USD 1 million in total, taken from its net profit scored in the fiscal year 2020.
This plan had obtained the required approval during the Annual General Shareholders Meeting held a couple of days earlier. In the said meeting, the investors agreed to allocate 14.9% of the net profit gained in 2020 as the cash dividend. Thus, it means that one share would be granted a dividend worth USD 0.00027.
The management had set the cum dividend date in the regular and negotiation market to September 8, 2021. Then, the cum date for the cash market would follow on September 10, 2021. The disbursement would take place on October 1, 2021.
Based on idnfinancials.com data, KEEN managed to gather USD 6.72 million in net profit back in 2020. Additionally, its retained earnings reported in December 2020 amounted to USD 47.75 million.
As of June 2021, the shareholders of KEEN are PT Paramata Indah Lestari, owning 30.30% of the shares. Then, the public divides another 33.50% among themselves, while the remaining portion is dispersed within several directors and commissioners of the company. (KR/ZH)
