JAKARTA. PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA) allocates IDR 350 billion to its capital expenditure (CapEx) this year to start the construction of two new hospitals. They would then complete the target of six new hospitals by 2024.

The realisation of MIKA's CapEx by the first half of 2021 only reaches IDR 99 billion. The rest of it would be entirely spent in the second half of 2021 to establish two new hospitals with a capacity of 200 beds.

Aditya Widjaja, Head of Investor Relations of Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat, claims that Mitra Keluarga currently possesses six sites, on which are ready to build hospitals. MIKA aims to operate six new hospitals of 1,200 beds in total by the end of 2024.

Through the public expose yesterday (6/9), Widjaja reveals that these upcoming hospitals would be located in Cikarang and South Tangerang. (AM/ZH)
