JAKARTA. PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) had just obtained a coal hauling road construction project worth IDR 52 billion from PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC).

Mukson Arif Rosyidi, Chief of Investor Relations and Corporate Secretary of Darma Henwa, mentions that the said project is located in North Bengalon, East Kutai. “It would be conducted within the project completion time frame of six months,” he further adds in the information disclosure in the stock exchange today (8/9).

Rosyidi confirms that this contract is considered an affiliated transaction as regulated by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). However, this transaction does not call for an evaluation report, as the said contract generates a recurring and sustainable revenue.

“The contract would strengthen the company’s business structure due to new addition in the portfolio, thus potentially boosting the company’s revenue,” Rosyidi elaborates.

According to idnfinancials.com, DEWA’s revenue takes a 10% downturn year-on-year (yoy) in the first half of 2021 to USD 73.78 million. Fortunately, in contrast, its net profit actually goes up. It increases 27% yoy to USD 876.34 thousand. (KR/ZH)
