09 September 2021 10:51

JAKARTA. Dipay digital wallet, owned and developed by PT Surya Fajar Capital Tbk (SFAN) through PT Mareco Prima Mandiri, had been granted permission to process transactions using Quick Response Indonesia Standard (QRIS) from Bank Indonesia (BI)

According to Evie Feniyanti, Director and Corporate Secretary of Surya Fajar Capital, the QRIS authorisation was received on September 6, 2021. “This permit surely poses a positive impact on Dipay and the company (SFAN),” she claims in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange today (9/9).

Furthermore, Feniyanti believes Dipay could expand the scope of its digital wallet service. Its users now could access non-cash payments using a QR Code designed accordingly to the national standard.

Based on idnfinancials.com data, Mareco Prima is a company indirectly owned by Surya Fajar Capital through PT Digitalisasi Perangkat Indonesia (DPI). DPI’s portion in Mareco Prima is reported to reach 82.8% in June 2021, while SFAN holds a 99.99% control over DPI’s shares.

For the record, Mareco Prima had been provided with additional funds of IDR 7.5 billion from SFAN back in September 2020. This extra investment was utilised to develop the business on which Mareco Prima focuses. (KR/ZH)
