13 September 2021 14:33

JAKARTA – PT Guna Timur Raya Tbk (TRUK) is confident that its performance this year would improve compared to the gain in 2020 or stabilise compared to its performance in 2019. In 2020, the revenue was reported to reach IDR 424.89 billion, while in 2019, the company scored IDR 49.0 billion in revenue.

Budi Gunawan, President Director of Guna Timur Raya, claims that the company projects this year’s revenue to match 2019’s. “The company revises the financial growth target. The massive performance growth plan needs to be delayed as the revenue decline is estimated to reach 15% to 20% [from the initial 2021 target],” he explains in the information disclosure today (13/9).

According to Gunawan, the company was not significantly affected by the Community Activities Restriction Enforcement (PPKM) in Banten, Jabodetabek, Central Java, and East Java. The current business strategies applied by the management involves providing fleets that cater to customers’ demands (niche market) in order to avoid investment failures.

TRUK is currently handling 20 customers, five of which contribute over 10% to the total revenue. Additionally, it operates 90 vehicles and plans to acquire more units in the future. (LK/ZH)
