Surge's subsidiary obtains IDR256.5 billion financing from BNI

JAKARTA - PT Integrasi Jarinngan Ekosistem (IJE) or Weave, a subsidiary of digital infrastructure connectivity company PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk. (WIFI) or Surge, together with PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBNI) or BNI has just completed credit financing for a fiber optic network infrastructure project in Java. Weave obtained credit with a maximum facility value of IDR256.5 billion or 63% of the project value, where the total project cost is assumed to be IDR407.2 billion.

Weave earned 9.5% interest with a period of 90 months including a grace period of 12 months. This loan will later be used for the construction of the next stage of optical fiber along the railroad in various locations such as Banten, West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta to East Java.

Surge through Weave has started the construction of 144 fiber optic cores along PT KAI's 2,800 km long railroad, or more than 500 stations located in 9 PT KAI operational areas, since the end of 2019. This development is designed to improve the highly efficient data infrastructure network. fast, stable with low latency on the island of Java which can facilitate internet connectivity with very large bandwidth capacity.

As of September, the company is finalizing the initial stage of deploying a fiber optic network on the Jakarta - Cikarang - Bandung and Jakarta - Bogor sections. The deployment along the 180 km is targeted for completion by the end of September 2021. Recently Weave officially collaborated with the telecommunications infrastructure company PT Prasetia Dwidharma and the railway infrastructure company PT Sarida Utama who are members of the Prasetia and Sarida Consortium to be present as project partners in the network deployment phase Weave optical fiber as a whole, in the sections of Banten, West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, to East Java.
