JAKARTA. PT Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk (MKNT) had made an extra investment of IDR 21 billion in one of its subsidiaries, PT Digifast Kreasi Indonesia (PT DKI).
This additional funding was channelled simultaneously along with the issued and paid-up capital increment of PT DKI. As a result, PT DKI’s issued and paid-up capital now reaches IDR 85 billion, increasing from the previous IDR 50 billion. On the other hand, MKNT’s portion in PT DKI remains stable at 75%.
Jefri Junaedi, President Director of Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara, claims that this added capital is envisioned to strengthen PT DKI’s capital structure. “It could hopefully boost the operational activities of the said subsidiary,” he wishes.
According to idnfinancials.com data, PT DKI is a subsidiary of MNKT that has been commercially operated since 2017. As of June 30, 2021, this company, which delves into the trading business, owns total assets before elimination of IDR 24 billion.
Within the past year, MKNT’s stock price has been stagnant at IDR 50 per share. However, in the last five years, it was weakening by 24.24% or 16 bps. (KR/ZH)
