JAKARTA – PT Mahaka Media Tbk (ABBA) aims for additional funds via the rights issue of 1.2 billion units of shares for IDR 100 each. President Director of Mahaka Media, Adrian Syarkawie, announces this directly through the public expose, quoted today (16/9).
According to Syarkawie, the raised funds would then be utilised to develop businesses handled by its subsidiaries, for instance, Republika or Khazanah applications. “However, the primary priority is surely to expand the existing business in subsidiaries,” he further reaffirms.
It is also mentioned that it might support other plans to fund existing start-ups or establish another. “We are currently considering which choice would be the best, without straying away from the core business and still relating to the community. These are our priorities,” Syarkawie firmly concludes. (LK/ZH)
