ARKA eyes the second batch RDMP project of Balikpapan Refinery

JAKARTA – PT Arkha Jayanti Persada Tbk (ARKA), a heavy equipment component provider, is aiming for batch II of the Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) project of Balikpapan Oil and Gas Refinery. President Director of Arkha Jayanti Persada, Dwi Hartanto, confirms this plan through the public expose, quoted today (17/9).

“The company is partaking in the tender process of RDMP batch II, continuing the RDMP batch I, whose contract had been obtained first,” Hartanto reveals further.

According to Hartanto, the RDMP of Balikpapan Refineries is a strategic project that could support national energy sustainability in the future. The production capacity of the said refinery is projected to increase to 360 thousand barrels per day from the initial 260 thousand barrels per day.

It is further mentioned that there would be prospects of steel constructions, heavy equipment component fabrications, and dump truck manufacture for this year. These include RDMP batch I of IDR 34 billion, RDMP batch II of IDR 67 billion, coal dump truck body for Hino Indonesia of IDR 35 billion, and bulldozer HD truck components for Komatsu Indonesia of IDR 30 billion.
