JAKARTA – PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM), a tobacco company, channels out additional investment of IDR 1 trillion in PT Surya Dhoho Investama (SDHI) to support the continuity of Kediri Airport construction in East Java.

Heru Budiman, Corporate Secretary of Gudang Garam, claims that the extra IDR 1 trillion was added by purchasing 1 million shares issued by SDHI. “The issued and paid-up capital of SDHI increases from IDR 5 trillion to IDR 6 trillion, finalised through a circular decision made yesterday (17/9),” he confirms, as quoted from the information disclosure today (20/9).

SDHI is GGRM’s subsidiary with a 99.99% ownership percentage. The added capital would be disbursed to SDHI gradually from September to December 2021.

On April 21, 2020, the company had initiated the construction of Dhoho Airport in Kediri with the ground-breaking phase. It is targeted to be concluded in 2023 using the public-private partnership scheme. (LK/ZH)
