AP II seeks partners for Kualanamu Airport projects

JAKARTA. PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) is on the search for strategic investors to help manage three infrastructure projects in Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra.

Strategic investors would then acquire 49% of PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi’s shares, while the remaining 51% belongs to Angkasa Pura II itself.

According to idnfinancials.com data, Angkasa Pura Aviasi is one of subsidiaries of Angkasa Pura II. As of 2020, Angkasa Pura II is reported to own 99.99% of Angkasa Pura Aviasi.

“The collaboration between stakeholders and business partners is intended to become one of the economic drivers in the western part of Indonesia, particularly in North Sumatra,” Haris, Director of Angkasa Pura Aviasi, reveals his vision.

It is worth mentioning that the three projects to be handled by Angkasa Pura Aviasi in Kualanamu Airport are the development of Airport City, E-Commerce Centre Warehouse, and Integrated Commercial Area. The Airport City would be established on 135-Ha land, while the E-Commerce Centre Warehouse would be erected on 2-Ha land. Lastly, the Integrated Commercial Area would take up the most space with a 20-Ha area. (KR/ZH)
