JAKARTA. PT Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk (HEXA) would distribute cash dividends of USD 70.48 million, equivalent to IDR 1 trillion. The decision is final after the General Shareholders Meeting held last week.
Listiana A Kurniawati, Corporate Secretary of HEXA, specifies that USD 20.48 million of the cash dividends would be taken from its net profit gained by the end of March 31, 2021. Then, another USD 50 million comes from its unrestricted retained earnings.
“Therefore, the total cash dividends equal USD 0.084 per share, to be disbursed over 840 million units of shares. In total, it would round up to USD 70.48 million,” Kurniawati adds extensively through the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange.
The management had decided the cum dividend date in the regular and negotiation market, which would fall on September 27, 2021. Meanwhile, the dividend payment would be channelled out on October 21, 2021.
Based on idnfinancials.com data, as of March 31, 2021, Hitachi Construction Machinery Co Ltd takes control of 48.59% of HEXA’s shares. Itochu Corporation owns another 25.05%, while Hitachi Construction Machinery Apac claims 5.07%, and public investors share the remaining 21.29%. (KR/ZH)
