JAKARTA – PT Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk (HEXA) aims for sales of 1,626 units of heavy equipment by the end of the year. Director of Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk (HEXA), Yoshendri, states this objective through a public expose, quoted Wednesday (22/9).

According to Yoshendri, selling that number of heavy equipment would generate USD 359.4 million in this year’s revenue. Additionally, it would lead to them collecting USD 31.75 million in net profit. As of June 2021, HEXA managed to sell 428 units, most of which are ordered by the plantation sector.

The target for this year is higher than the realisation in 2020 of 1,552 units. The sales consisted of 1,284 units of excavator 6-tons-overs, 23 wheel loaders, 245 units of mini excavators, and 3 articulated dump trucks.

Furthermore, Dwi Sasono, Director of HEXA, expresses his confidence in attaining sales target amidst the recovering market, thus reaching the goal of selling over 1,500 units. “The existing target would keep being evaluated according to current conditions, as well as adjusting it with the factories’ production capacity.

According to Sasono, his company has increased the selling price of heavy equipment since August 2021 as the global steel price climbs. HEXA’s available products come from PT Hitachi Construction Machinery Indonesia (HCMI) and imported machinery, for instance, jumbo-sized heavy equipment. (LK/ZH)
