Bank Neo to raise authorised capital to IDR 3 trillion post-rights issue

JAKARTA – PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB) would double its authorised capital from IDR 1.5 trillion to IDR 3 trillion after concluding its fifth rights issue. The rights issue itself will start today and end by next week (23-30/9). Based on the information disclosure quoted Thursday (23/9), this plan had been approved during the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting earlier this week (20/9).

In the minutes of meeting disclosed by Agnes Fibri Triliana Dewi, Corporate Secretary of Bank Neo Commerce, it is revealed that the shareholders also stated their approval regarding the company takeover by PT Akulaku Silvrr Indonesia. The other agenda of the meeting is related to the plan of increasing authorised capital to IDR 3 trillion, comprising 30 billion shares of IDR 100 each.

As of August 2021, BBYB’s shares amounted to 7,494,498,810 units, 59.877% of which are controlled by PT Akulaku Silvrr Indonesia (ASI) with 24.981%, PT Gozco Capital 17.676%, Yellow Brick Enterprise Ltd 11.099%, and Rockcore Financial Technology Ltd 6.122%.

Bank Neo is preparing to issue 5 billion shares, equal to 40.02% of its issued and paid-up capital after the ongoing rights issue has been concluded. Its current authorised capital amounts to IDR 1.5 trillion, while its issued and paid-up capital reaches IDR 749.45 billion, and stock in portfolio is worth IDR 750.54 billion. (LK/ZH)
