IPCM draws up IDR 95 billion for tugboats and pilot boats

JAKARTA – PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IPCM) would allocate a capital expenditure (CapEx) of IDR 95 billion for purchasing additional boats to its fleet this year. Amri Yusuf, President Director of Jasa Armada Indonesia, announced this plan through the public expose, quoted Thursday (23/9).

The CapEx would be spent on acquiring one additional tugboat with a capacity of 2x2200 hp (horsepower) and three pilot boats. “Meanwhile, the CapEx budget for next year would amount to IDR 140 billion. It is intended to buy two more tugboats and enhance the technology,” Yusuf discloses further.

IPCM currently manages 89 vessels in its fleet, comprising tugboats, pilot boats, and mooring boats. The sales and revenue as of H1 2021 amounted to IDR 393 billion, while its net profit reached IDR 60.5 billion. The primary contributors of the revenue gain are towage, bringing IDR 347 billion, ship maintenance of IDR 28 billion, and pilotage of IDR 18 billion. (LK/ZH)
