Two of BACA’s shareholders agreed to take part in the rights issue

JAKARTA – Two shareholders of PT Bank Capital Indonesia Tbk (BACA) declares their commitments to participate in the rights issue of 20 billion shares of IDR 100 each. The said rights issue will be conducted from October 26 to November 2, 2021.

Quoting the short prospectus today (23/9), IGC, as the owner of 14.71% of BACA’s shares and DIS, which claims another 13.96%, had announced their readiness in the official statement letter yesterday (22/9). BACA’s issued and paid-up capital would then be raised from IDR 635.81 billion to IDR 1.34 trillion. Public investors claim the highest portion of 36.21%, followed by IGC with 29.65%, DCS 28.14%, and PT Asuransi Simas Jaya (ASJ) 6.01%.

BACA’s current authorised capital amounts to IDR 2.8 trillion, its issued and paid-up capital IDR 707.79 billion, and its stock in portfolio reaches IDR 2.09 trillion. Additionally, its current shareholders consist of the public with 59.92% and ASJ of 11.41%.

If other shareholders also joined in the upcoming rights issue, BACA’s issued and paid-up capital would increase to IDR 2.77 trillion. The public would gain 60.82%, %, IGC 14.38%, DCS 13.65%, and ASJ 11.5%. (LK/ZH)
