JAKARTA. PT Kurniamitra Duta Sentosa Tbk (KMDS) would distribute interim dividends of IDR 7.5 per share or IDR 6 billion in total. It would be taken out of the net profit gained in H1 2021.

Dewi Irianty Wijaya, Financial Director of KMDS, claims that this mid-year dividend distribution is based on the decision of the company’s directors. “It had been approved by the Boards of Commissioners on September 17, 2021,” Wijaya confirms in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Wijaya had set the cum dividend date in the regular and negotiation market to September 29, 2021, and October 1, 2021, for the cash market. Meanwhile, the recording date would fall on October 1, 2021, followed by the disbursement on October 19, 2021.

According to idnfinancials.com, KMDS had scored IDR 14.87 billion by the end of the first half of 2021. Therefore, the total interim dividend to be distributed would cover 40% of the net profit in H1 2021.

As of June 30, 2021, PT Miki Ojisan Indomitra still controls 76.19% of KMDS’s shares. Then, another 20% is divided among the public investors, while the remaining portion is channelled out to directors and commissioners of the company. (KR/ZH)
