JAKARTA – PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) collected fresh funds of IDR 691.17 billion after selling 303,148,100 shares of treasury stock gained in a buyback. The buyers listed for this event include PT BNI Sekuritas, PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas, and PT Bahana Sekuritas.
Apollonius Andwie C, Corporate Secretary of Bukit Asam, mentions that the treasury stock is sold for IDR 2,280 per share. “The said amount is above the minimum average price during the closing bell in the past 90 days, which is IDR 2,197 each,” he reveals in the information disclosure today (23/9).
According to Andwie, the said total amount has not yet subtracted placement costs and taxes of IDR 691.17 million in total. The company has collected IDR 2.86 trillion in total from selling 953,135,600 units of treasury stock since April 2, 2019.
“The remaining treasury stock consist of 33,449,900 shares, equivalent to 0.29% of the total shares,” Andwie concludes. (LK/ZH)
