JAKARTA – PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN) set the target of funding 150 thousand units of houses until the end of 2021 and support 1 million houses in total by 2025. President Director of BTN, Haru Koesmahargyo, announces this objective during the CEO Talk in Jakarta, Friday (24/9).
According to Koesmahargyo, the number of funded houses this year is lesser than the initial target of 200 thousand houses per year from 2022 to 2025. “Next year, hopefully, the financing would increase so that we could attain 1 million units within the next five years,” he expresses his wish.
Furthermore, Koesmahargyo states that BTN has assisted the establishment of 4.9 million houses since 1976, particularly for those with low income. Indeed, 80% of the housing financing portfolio of BTN consists of Public Housing Credit (KPR).
As of H1 2021, BTN had channelled credits of IDR 30.5 trillion, 5.59% higher than H1 2020 of IDR 314.6 trillion. Additionally, the third-party funds also climb to IDR 298.3 trillion from IDR 226.3 trillion. (LK/ZH)
