Bank Ina saw a 767.79% surge in net profit

JAKARTA. The net profit of PT Bank Ina Perdana Tbk (BINA) impressively soared 767.79% to IDR 23.17 billion by the first half of 2021, supported by the net interest income that grew 30%.

Based on the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange last Sunday (26/9), BINA reported its channelled credits of IDR 3.11 trillion, increasing 6.22% from the amount reported in December 2020. The third-party funds are also 38% year-to-date (ytd) higher, from IDR 7.10 trillion to IDR 9.79 trillion. Additionally, BINA also scored IDR 109 billion in its net interest revenue.

It did not stop there as BINA reported another gain from financial assets sales of IDR 48.69 billion. Meanwhile, it managed to cut down operational expenses by 4.68% to IDR 74.87 billion. Lastly, the company’s operating profit drastically proliferated by 555% to IDR 34.13 billion from the initial IDR 5 billion.

Currently, BINA’s assets amount to IDR 11.366 trillion, also increasing by 35% ytd. (AM/ZH)
