Deli Pratama Batubara acquired 49.56% of PKPK’s shares

JAKARTA – PT Deli Pratama Batubara (DPB) bought 49.56% of PT Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk’s (PKPK) shares for IDR 17.83 billion. With this acquisition, DPB now becomes one of the majority shareholders in PKPK.

Haryanto Sofian, Director of Deli Pratama Batubara, claims that the transfer of 297,383,762 shares is priced at IDR 60 each. “The company had concluded the purchase of 49.56% of the entire issued and paid-up capital of the company,” he confirmed in the information disclosure, quoted today (27/9).

As of July 2021, PKPK has issued and paid-up capital of 600 million units. The shareholders are Soerjadi Soedarsono of 35.95%, Fanny Listiawati of 13.61%, and public investors of 50.44%, each owning less than 5%.

Based on its report in June 2021, the company suffered from a deficit in its profit of IDR 98.21 billion, worsening from December 2020 of IDR 97.88 billion. Its revenue also declined rapidly from IDR 9.57 billion in H1 2020 to IDR 715.90 million. Its comprehensive loss amounted to IDR 335.30 million, freefalling from IDR 2.89 billion of net profit last year. (LK/ZH)
