Tigaraksa lays out strategies to boost its performance

JAKARTA. In order to maximise its business progression within the rest of the year, PT Tigaraksa Satria Tbk (TGKA) had prepared several special strategies to attain the defined growth target.

These strategies in question include the addition of new principles, the expansion to cold-chain and e-commerce businesses, and product diversification in the direct selling segment. They also involve the extension of network coverage and process depth in the General Trade Channel, service-level improvement, and more effective promotional activities.

Syahrizal Sabir, Corporate Secretary of Tigaraksa Satria, admitted that the company initially aimed for a high-single-digit revenue growth rate by this year. Moreover, TGKA was confident that it could still reach the revenue growth target in 2021, particularly after increasing the sales of existing primary products.

However, Sabir further revealed that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, his company is now more cautious and realistic in determining revenue growth rate in 2021. Thus, TGKA is no longer aiming for a high-single-digit growth rate. “TGKA is more realistic now as the business might still be affected by the pandemic,” Syahrizal concluded. (AM/ZH)
