29 September 2021 08:36

JAKARTA. PT Bank Nationalnobu Tbk (NOBU) intends to raise the capital by giving preemptive rights, or a rights issue, of a maximum of 500 million shares of IDR 100 each.

This corporate action had received the green light during the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting held last Friday (24/9).

As informed before, Bank Nobu would utilise the raised funds from the rights issue to purchase assets of PT Grahaputra Mandirikharisma (GPMK). The assets comprise Building A of Pelita Harapan University in Lippo Karawaci, Tangerang, worth IDR 132 billion, and several spaces inside Gadjah Mada Tower Building at Gadjah Mada Road, Central Jakarta, worth IDR 61 billion. The rest of the funds would be used to increase its working capital.

Additionally, GPMK would take the role of the standby buyer in this upcoming rights issue should any unclaimed rights remain. (AM/ZH)
