JAKARTA – PT Yanaprima Hasta Persada Tbk (YPAS) aims to score IDR 315 billion in sales revenue by the end of this year. The main contribution is estimated to come from plastic sacks and cement bags.

Rinawati, Financial Director of Yanaprima Hasta Persada, added that this year’s profit target would be IDR 5 billion. “The promising market shares include feed products, flour, sugar, and rice. These sectors are still stable, and our productivity reaches 75% of total machine utilisation. We are optimistic and trying our best to improve our performance,” she claimed through a public expose, quoted Wednesday (29/9).

Aside from that, the management would implement internal efficiencies and increase production effectiveness. It includes cutting financial costs by refinancing to obtain lower credit interests. By the end of H1 2020, YPAS had secured IDR 136.41 billion in sales and revenue and IDR 306 million in net profit.

Furthermore, Rinawati revealed that the company optimises production by gradually upgrading its machines. YPAS believed that in 2022, the demand for plastic packaging would still come from various sectors like food, rice, sugar, flour, and other feed products. (LK/ZH)
