New factory opens, Arwana to boost its 2021 target

JAKARTA. The commence of new factory operational activities encouraged PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA) to raise its sales and net profit growth target to 40% from 15% and 30%, respectively.

Rudy Sujanto, CFO of Arwana Citramulia, confirmed that the freshly operating plant in Mojokerto in April 2021 had boosted his optimism in attaining the new target. With this new factory running, ARNA now manages 22 production lines.

Sujanto also revealed that until August 2021, the realisation of sales and net profit had surpassed the 2021 initial target. “We are feeling confident that our work in 2021 would outperform [our expectation], thus allowing the net profit growth projection to reach 40%,” he further stated, as quoted in Kontan.co.id on Monday (27/9).

ARNA’s net sales in H1 2021 were reported to reach IDR 1.25 trillion, increasing 25.23% from IDR 995.68 billion recorded in H1 2020. Moreover, its current year’s profit surged by 83.12%, from IDR 120.64 billion to IDR 220.91 billion in H1 2021. (AM/ZH)
