JAKARTA. As of Wednesday (29/9), PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) had suspended the trading of 33 stocks of companies that had not submitted their Q1 2021 financial reports.
Specifically, they consist of two companies that recently received their suspensions and 31 others whose suspensions are extended.
The notification letter from the exchange was signed by the Head of Corporate Appraisal 1, 2, and 3 and released in the information disclosure yesterday (29/9). The letter stated, “Regarding the obligation to submit Interim Financial Report that is due March 31, 2021, and according to the condition II.6.3. Regulation No. I-H concerning Sanctions, the stock exchange had sent a Written Warning III and imposed additional fines of IDR 150 million to the companies listed below that are behind on turning in their financial reports and/or have not transferred the fines regarding the delayed financial report.”
The stock exchange had temporarily halted the stock tradings of two companies, PT Mahaka Media Tbk (ABBA) and PT Dewata Freight International Tbk (DEAL), in the regular and cash markets since the first session of securities trading on September 29, 2021. At the same time, IDX had also extended the trading suspension of these 31 companies listed below:
