JAKARTA. Indonesia Central Securities Depository (lit. Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia/KSEI) notices that PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (SRTG) now has 8.84% ownership over PT Aneka Gas Industri Tbk (AGII) after the stock purchase made last week.
Based on KSEI data quoted Monday (4/10), last Wednesday (29/9), SRTG’s portion in AGII only reached 8.22% or 251.94 million shares. However, the next day, Thursday (30/9), SRTG’s percentage was reported to rise to 8.84% or 270.94 million shares.
The gas business, which has been AGII’s focus, is currently thriving, thus allowing the company to aim for a double-digit business growth rate of up to 10% this year. Rachmat Harsono, President Director of Aneka Gas Industri, had previously shown optimism regarding the said target as the industrial gas demands have been gradually recovering.
Additionally, AGII’s cooperation with PT Timah Tbk to provide industrial gas needed in the lead refinery facility (smelting plant) construction project in Bangka Belitung also became another boost to help AGII attain the said performance growth target. (AM/ZH)
