JAKARTA – PT Dana Brata Luhur Tbk (TEBE), a coal mining company, set the budget for the capital expenditure (CapEx) of IDR 32.5 billion to upgrade dump truck fleets in the second half of 2021. President Director of Dana Brata Luhur, Dian Heryandi, informed the mass through the public expose, quoted Tuesday (5/10).

“The upgrade would be applied to 10 trucks of 36-tons capacity, which would be replaced with 5 trucks of 120-tons capacity. In terms of operation, it would be more efficient. It also maximises the momentum of the all-time high coal price and coal production from the company’s service users,” Heryandi further stated.

According to Heryandi, the company had prepared IDR 6.5 billion per truck for this plan. This upgrade would subsequently create efficiencies in coal transportation and the company’s operation in general. The amount of CapEx drawn up by TEBE this year is indeed smaller due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of June 2021, TEBE’s revenue was reported to reach IDR 141.52 billion. It is the accumulation of port services of IDR 125.81 billion, road facility of IDR 293 million, and truck rentals and others of IDR 15.41 billion. Lastly, it managed to score IDR 40.46 billion in net profit. (LK/ZH)
