JAKARTA. The COVID-19 pandemic has allowed PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk (MAIN) to accelerate exports of processed foods to several countries. Recently, it had even arrived at Japan market.
Through its subsidiary, PT Malindo Food Delight, the company has exported various products of processed foods under the brand SunnyGold. They include nuggets, sausages, karaage, and others.
In its written announcement earlier this week, Rewin Hanrahan, Director of Malindo Food Delight, revealed that his company has been cooperating with a diaspora that owns a halal culinary business in Japan. Moreover, SunnyGold products have met international standards, making them easier to enter the global market.
According to Hanrahan, after starting exporting to Japan last year, it continued to January 2021, even in September 2021. The exported goods are 6 tons of nuggets and karaage. (AM/ZH)
