SHIP receives a loan of USD 40 million to acquire an extra boat

JAKARTA – PT Sillo Maritime Perdana Tbk (SHIP) acquired a loan facility of USD 40 million from PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI). This facility was effective starting last week (15/10) and would be utilised by PT Cassa Mega Lautan (CML), SHIP’s subsidiary.

In the information disclosure, quoted Tuesday (19/10), Herjati, President Director of Sillo Maritime Perdana, confirmed that the said credit facility would be spent on installing payments for one boat unit with a contract period of 84 months.

In the last three weeks, two of SHIP’s subsidiaries had obtained two different loan facilities from Bank Mandiri. On September 29, 2021, PT Suasana Benua Sukses (SBS) secured a loan of USD 27.5 million that would last 72 months to fund ship docking and other general purposes.

Currently, SHIP manages 19 units of various types of boats. There are four units of floating storage and offloading, one unit of corridor storage tanker, one unit of Liquefied Gas Carrier (LGC) tanker, one oil tanker, one unit of platform supply vessel, two utility vessels, six units of harbour tugboat, and three crew boats.
