JAKARTA – PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) completed the load testing of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Jabodebek spanning over the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) Tollway yesterday (18/10). The said load testing was initiated right after ADHI received the last trainset manufactured by PT Industri Kereta Api (Persero) (INKA), Madiun, East Java.

Farid Budiyanto, Corporate Secretary of Adhi Karya, explained that load testing needs to be performed first to ensure that it is safe for the public to use. “[One of the tracks] include the 90m long-span bridge, surpassing one of the longest bridges in Dubai of 74 metre,” he claimed in the press release, quoted today (19/10).

Prior to the load testing, ADHI had just received the 31st trainset delivery, consisting of six trains in one single series, on Sunday (17/10). This trainset was the last batch delivered. The first trainset was first sent out from INKA in October 2019.

Until September 2021, ADHI had completed 87.54% of the first stage of construction of the integrated LRT in Jabodebek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Bekasi).
