JAKARTA. PT Surya Esa Perkasa Tbk (ESSA) announced its decision to temporarily shut down the operational activities of an ammonia factory owned by one of its subsidiaries, PT Panca Amara Utama (PAU), due to turnaround maintenance.

Erfine Kumala Furi, Corporate Secretary of ESSA, confirmed that this is the first turnaround maintenance performed by PAU since the plant commissioning. “This turnaround maintenance is a critical activity for the continuity of the factory and needs to be performed during a factory shutdown,” Furi explained in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

The said maintenance activities are scheduled for one whole month, starting from October 11, 2021. “PAU management would focus on turnaround maintenance safely, efficiently, and timely,” Furi further claimed.

Furthermore, Furi was sure that this turnaround maintenance would pose no impact on the company’s operational activities or financial condition.
