JAKARTA – PT Mitra Buana Koorporindo (MBK) filed a Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA). MBK is known to be one of the information technology software provider.
Quoting pn-jakartapusat.go.id today (26/10), MBK registered a case to Central Jakarta Commercial Court on October 22, 2021, under case No. 425/Pdt.Sus PKPU/2021/PN Niaga Jkt Pst. One of the pleas includes requesting the court to grant a temporary PKPU for GIAA until the next 45 days. In addition, MBK also assigned several curators and administrators listed under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights regarding this PKPU process.
MBK had not specified the involved material value in its PKPU request. This company was initially known as PT Mitra Buana Komputindo.
On the other hand, Central Jakarta Commercial Court had refused the PKPU request submitted by PT My Indo Airlines over GIAA last week (21/10). Irfan Setiaputra, President Director of Garuda Indonesia, confirmed that the commercial court had officially denied the PKPU submission in decision letter no. 289/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2021/PN Jkt Pusat.
