JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) closed up 38.04 points or 0.57% to 6,663.73 at the end of the first trading session today (26/10). This increase was supported by the strengthening of a number of sectoral indices, one of which was the Health Sector IDX which skyrocketed 1.92%.
According to Kontan's report, the total stock exchange transaction volume reached 13.48 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp7.02 trillion. A total of 264 stocks rose, 222 stocks fell and 165 stocks moved flat.
LQ45 top gainers this afternoon were PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF), PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) and PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR). (LM)
