JAKARTA – PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA) assigned the legal consultant Assegaf Hamzah & Partners (AHP) to deal with the suspension of debt payment (PKPU) filed by PT Mitra Buana Koorporindo (MBK).

Mitra Piranti, Vice President Corporate Secretary and Investor Relation of Garuda Indonesia, claimed to be currently reviewing the said lawsuit and would respond according to the appropriate legal processes. “The company is coordinating with its Board of Commissioners, shareholders, and related authorities to decide the next step in facing this PKPU request,” Piranti added today (28/10).

Piranti confirmed that MBK was initially assigned by the company to provide equipment, development, and management services for its end-user computing (EUC) Dom devices. In the filed lawsuit, MBK revealed that there were still charges unpaid by GIAA of IDR 4.15 billion.

GIAA received the letter of court summoning from the Commercial Court yesterday (26/10) regarding this PKPU lawsuit under case no. 425/Pdt.Sus/PKPU/2021/PN Niaga.Jkt.Pst. (LK/ZH)
