JAKARTA – PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) scored IDR 23.05 trillion in revenue in the third quarter of the year, IDR 2.46 trillion higher than the gain reported in Q3 2020 of IDR 20.59 trillion. President Director of Indosat, Ahmad Abdulaziz Al-Neama, revealed this achievement in the Financial Report of Q3 2021 published earlier today (28/10).
The contribution to the revenue mostly came from the cell segment of IDR 18.78 trillion, increasing from IDR 17.03 trillion. Then, the multimedia, communication, data, and internet (MIDI) segment followed with IDR 3.84 trillion, climbing from IDR 3.16 trillion. Meanwhile, fixed telecommunication brought in IDR 422.86 billion this year, escalating from IDR 395.50 billion.
The company managed to end up with the current year profit of IDR 5.86 trillion, higher than IDR 418.02 billion reported in the same period last year. This increase in profit resulted from a net income from tower sales and leaseback of IDR 6.16 trillion. It subsequently lowered the expenses from IDR 18.83 trillion to IDR 14.97 trillion. (LK/ZH)
