Slow revenue, ADHI’s net profit still climbed 47.89%

JAKARTA – PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) recorded profit growth of 47.89% in Q3 2021 despite the decline in operating revenue of 13.08%. The profit increase was possible due to the decreased operating expenses and a jump in profit of joint ventures.

Entus Asnawi Mukhson, President Director of Adhi Karya, announced that its operating profit reached IDR 7.35 trillion, depleting from IDR 8.45 trillion, dragging the gross profit from IDR 1.14 trillion to IDR 1.08 trillion.

Meanwhile, its operating profit climbed to IDR 594.90 billion from IDR 582.07 billion. Similarly, the profit before taxes was reported to reach IDR 30.42 billion, shifting from IDR 26.18 billion, while the current year profit grew to IDR 23.10 billion from IDR 15.55 billion.

The most extensive contributor to the revenue was the construction sector, bringing in IDR 5.82 trillion, sliding off from IDR 6.34 trillion in Q3 2020. It was followed by the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) sector of IDR 226.72 billion, the property sector IDR 523.94 billion, and infrastructure investments IDR 779.69 billion. In Q3 2020, the property used to score IDR 1.1 trillion, while infrastructure investments brought IDR 635.61 billion and EPC IDR 372.57 billion. (LK/ZH)
