JAKARTA. The revenue and net profit of PT Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk (BEBS) took a sharp and significant upturn from January to September (9M) 2021 compared to the same period last year due to accelerations of its infrastructure projects.

Hasan Muldhani, President Director of BEBS, confirmed that the company’s revenue reached IDR 334 billion in 9M 2021. It experienced a massive surge of 255% year-on-year (yoy).

On the other hand, its net profit in 9M 2021 faced the same fortune, proliferating 350% yoy to IDR 75.04 billion. In the same period last year, the company only managed to score a net profit of IDR 16.66 billion.

In the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) earlier today (1/11), Muldhani mentioned that the revenue and profit gains of BEBS were possible due to the economic recovery. Furthermore, Muldhani observed and mentioned the decreasing number of COVID-19 cases.

“Followed by the relaxation of Community Activities Restriction Enforcement (PPKM) nearing the year-end, contractors make haste of their infrastructure projects so that they could be concluded before the year changes,” Muldhani explained further.

Muldhani clamed to be optimistic about BEBS’s financial performance positive trend that would continue to rise until the end of 2021. “We are confident that this particular condition could be maintained,” he proclaimed. (KR/ZH)
