JAKARTA – PT Protelindo, a subsidiary of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR), recently acquired 252 telecommunication towers initially managed by its three affiliates, including PT Iforte, PT Komet Infra Nusantara (KIN), and PT Quattro International.
Irfan Ghazali, Corporate Secretary of Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR), claimed that this transaction intended to consolidate telecommunication towers to Protelindo. “Through the sales-purchase agreement and lease transfer agreements, the said subsidiary would gain more efficiency in managing cash inflows,” he further explained in the information disclosure today (2/11).
The tower of Iforte that was transferred was one unit worth IDR 971.67 million. Then, acquired towers of KIN amounted to 241 units of IDR 262 billion in total, while Quattro’s were ten towers of IDR 14.46 billion in total. For KIN’s towers reassignment, the payment was channelled out in two stages, the first stage of IDR 10 billion and the second stage of IDR 252 billion. (LK/ZH)
