WIKA secured IDR 1 trillion loans

JAKARTA - PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) obtained a corporate line facility worth IDR 1 trillion from PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN). Corporate Secretary of Wijaya Karya, Mahendra Vijaya, confirmed the news in the information disclosure, quoted Wednesday (3/11).

According to Vijaya, the said facility consisted of cash loans of IDR 850 billion and non-cash loans of IDR 150 billion.  “This transaction is intended to fund the working capital to complete the construction of some of the company’s infrastructure projects,” he added.

WIKA’s ongoing projects include the Section I of Serang-Panimbang Tollway; Kuningan Water Reservoir, West Java; Bendo Water Reservoir, East Java; Kijing Terminal, Mempawah, West Kalimantan; Sultan Hasanudin Airport, Makassar; and Barru Steam Power Plant (PLTU) of 1x1000 megawatts (MW), South Sulawesi.

In this year, WIKA had set the budget for its working capital to IDR 3.75 trillion. This amount would flow in from the equity participation or investments of IDR 2.37 trillion and business development of IDR 1.26 trillion. (LK/ZH)
