JAKARTA. PT Reliance Sekuritas Tbk (RELI) recorded revenue of IDR 31.26 billion throughout January-September (9M) 2021. It skyrocketed 111.6% from the gain reported in the same period last year.
In its recently released financial report, this massive upward shift was supported by revenues from all of RELI’s business lines in 9M 2021. The brokerage service of securities trading brought in IDR 15.68 billion, followed by the underwriting service of IDR 13.4 billion and dividend and interest income of IDR 2.18 billion.
With those gains, RELI ended up with a net profit of IDR 20.87 billion in 9M of 2021. However, the said net profit in 9M 2021 was actually 63.3% year-on-year (yoy) lower than its gain recorded in 9M 2020. The decrease happened due to the visibly reduced income in the miscellaneous segment by 9M 2021.
As of September 30, 2021, 86.49% of RELI’s shares were under the control of PT Reliance Capital Management. Meanwhile, the remaining 13.51% belonged to public investors. (KR/ZH)
